1001 Killer eBay Marketing
tactics

People are constantly
asking how do you make money on eBay over
and over again. Honestly the answer is
simple. I just buy low and sell high on eBay
everyday. We’ll I’ll admit making money, a
really comfortable income is a little more
complex than that. Even so that’s really the
gist of it. Let me explain.
I’ve been utilizing the
amazing marketing power and reach of eBay to
make money for about 7 years. I’ve made a
lot of mistakes on the way too. Believe me,
it wasn’t always like this! After all,
almost everyone I know had to crawl before
walking, me included.
But believe success does
leave clues. After my first 3 years of just
breaking even or a little better on eBay, I
decided to get serious about making money.
To do this I scoured the internet like a
maniac. I contacted everyone who had any
connection to internet auctions and
specifically to eBay.
I went to eBay news groups
and absorbed everything I could about making
this auction thing work. At first, progress
was slow, but after a couple of years of
trying EVERYTHING, I discovered a
proven formula that
works. And it works like a Rolex!
Probably the best advice I
can give anyone interested in making money
on eBay is that you choose a product or
products that you have a genuine interest in
and or considerable knowledge about. If you
do this, your work becomes an enjoyable
hobby that will make you a ton of dough year
after year.
Next, don’t try and reinvent
the wheel. This is a very important point.
Learn from other people’s trial and error
and find out what works. Don’t waste your
time and your money on unproven theories.
That’s how a lot of people get burned and
lose motivation. Just get a solid training
program from someone who’s got the
experience and then get started as soon as
possible.
You’ll be amazed at the
results and delighted with the income you’ll
generate. One thing I do suggest that you do
if you haven’t already is sign up for an
account at ebay.com.
It takes just a few moments and voila,
you’re in business. Then you can pull a few
items out of your attic or closet and make
some easy money. That’s exactly how I got
started.
Then, once you see how easy
it is to make money you’ll be hooked for
sure. Just remember to get
good training before you go hook, line,
and sinker.
The reason I say training is
important is because it’s the difference
between breaking even and breaking the
bank. I have a friend, I’ll call him Mike,
who’s making a killing on eBay right now. I
won’t mention his full name or e-mail
address because he’s very secretive and
doesn’t want anyone to know his eBay
“Formula”. He makes a ton of money each week
on eBay. He’s a bona fide eBay Power Seller,
but pay close attention to the following
point.
Up until 8 months ago, Mike
was ready to throw in the towel and call it
quits! I was online one night and he sent me
an instant message and here’s what he told
me. “John, this eBay thing just isn’t
working. I’m just not making the kind of
money I thought I would! It’s not worth my
time. I’m gonna try something easier.” At
the time Mike was netting about $200 per
week. I was earning about 3 times more.
“Easier!” I thought. “What’s
easier than eBay.” Write a compelling ad for
a hot product, eBay delivers the customers
and you make money. Mike then explained to
me what he was doing and to be honest I had
been doing the same things just a year
earlier. To make a long story short, I just
described a few changes I thought he should
make. Nothing real drastic, just a few
changes here and there and the money would
start coming in.
That was 8 months ago. Today
Mike is doing a brisk amount of business
after just a few minor adjustments to his
marketing plan. He plans to do over $100,000
this year and I’m sure he will. All it took
was a little refinement to his approach.
Let me say this: You can make
money on eBay. All you have to do is decide
to. It doesn’t take a computer genius or a
marketing wizard. All you need is the desire
and a strong business plan to follow.
Until the next time.
Sincerely

John Gardner
